Biography

First licensed in 1970 as WA2LCH. Earned Extra class in Oct of 2017 when I became re-involved in Ham Radio. Navy Sonar Tech 1966 through 1969 on board various destroyers. Attended Newark College of Eng. 1970 through 1974 Comp Science/Elec. Eng. studies. MTS at Bell Laboratories 1980 - 2002 Federal Systems and Cellular. Prior to that worked at Aircraft Radio Corp Div. of Cessna Aircraft in Com/Nav radio development.

Enjoy Rag chewing on SSB and getting reacquainted with CW. Also like building Current project is finishing a dual 3-500 amp. New to Digital. Love working FT8. Currently have 97 countries confirmed in LoTW.

Rig is Yaesu FTdx-1200 into a Hy-Gain 80- 10 ground mounted Vertical. SCU-17 for CAT and SignalLink for PTT for interfaces back to my MacBook. Have AL-80B Amp (rarely use for FT8.
