Biography

Hi, I was raised in Brooklyn, NY. I attended Madison High School in NY.My callsign then was WA2GKM.

I then attended University of California at Berkeley from 1964 to 1968. My callsign in California was WD6GJF

until I moved to Florida and received callsign N4JLR. I am now retired as a Principal Systems Engineer from

Harris Corporation, Government Communications Systems Sector and live in Melbourne Florida

and am a consultant for several Government programs. I live 20 miles south of the

Kennedy Space Center on the east coast of central Florida

I received a BSEE from the University of California @ Berkeley 1964-1968,

attended Rollins College in Florida in 1974 and received my MBA and then

earned a PhD at Columbia University, NYC 1991. My expertise encompasses Satellite Communications,

Ground Communications and Meteorological Management Systems, Data Center Operations and

High Performance Computing Systems Architecture and Design and Implementaion.

I have worked with US and Foreign government agencies in the capacity of

Systems Engineer and consultant and Instructor for Engineers in

China, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Hongkong, Bucharest, and Portugal

and other countries ro name a few, teaching the priciples of Enterprise and Systems Management Concepts,

including the Architecture and Design of systems with adherance to

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes, procedures, policies and guidelines.

I began my career working for Burroughs Large Systems Branch in New York City,

then returned to California working for Northern Telecomm, joined Exxon Enterprises

in San Francisco as District Engineering Manager, and then was hired by

Harris Government Communcation Systems which facilitated a move to their Corporate Headquaters in

Melbourne Florida which is where I currently reside..

I am now retired but maintain all Government clearences and have a role as CTO for C&J Associates

in Melbourne Florida which is a Federal and Local Government Small Disadvantaged Business Consulting

Firm. (Less than 100 Employees), specializing in Enterprise and Systems Management, Satellite A&D and

Grnd Systems Architecture, Design and Implementaion Processes.. I also teach Masters Graduate classes at

local Universities in Brevard County.
