Who I Am
My name is Brandon Currin also known as CURRIN1776. I'm a ham radio operator, survivalist, and content creator based in Portal, GA. My passion for outdoor adventure and preparedness led me to work with BattlBox and Host the Netflix Original Series, Southern Survival. I'd love for you to get to know me more by clicking those links above to see what Shenanigans I'm currently getting into.

What’s New
* Recently moved my shack from an unfinished upstairs space in my home to a dedicated corner in my 60x60 Pole Barn, known as the Eagles Nest.
* New Shack Setup (Still in Progress):
* Main Rig: iCOM IC-7300 with a FDUCE SL40X boom mic feeding an Ultimax Skywaver Loop that is 264’ in length. (It is FRIGG’N AWESOME and you should try one if you have the space)
* Secondary Rig: Yaesu FTDX3000
* Autotuner: LDG IT-100 (rarely needed)
* 2m/70cm: Currently using my first radio, an iCOM IC-7100, but will switch to an iCOM ID-5100 in the future.
* Power Supply: Astron RS-35M
* Ham Clock: Inovato Quadra4K
* Tower Project: Currently erecting a 50' tower behind my shop—base is poured, and the first section is standing!
* Mobile Rigs: iCOM ID-5100s in both trucks

A Bit More About Me
Former chiller mechanic of 24 years, now living the homestead life with my wife (24 yrs, three kids (21, 20 and 18 yrs old), and a 24 acre farm of animals. If it’s broken, I can fix it. Find me on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok as CURRIN1776 or BattlBox for learning and of course entertainment.

Again, watch what I do on the HIT Netflix Original Series, SOUTHERN SURVIVAL. http://www.netflix.com/southernsurvival Brace yourselves and I apologize in advance. LOL

Always up for a good QSO—73!
