Biography

Hello my name is Kevin. I got my technician license July 2010. I have a yaesu ft2900 2m as my home base. and a diamond x50 2m 70cm base antenna yaesu 8800 mobile in the car. I enjoy uhf and vhf. Also I enjoy working the satellites like ao51 and ao27 I have made a few contacts on these satellites. I got my first hf rig in feb. 2011 which is yaesu ft450 with auto tuner running a g5rv antenna horizonal at 45 feet. I worked 10m on hf when i first got the rig then i got the hf bug. Next i got my general license in March 2011. I made a few contacts on 40m and really enjoyed it. Now i'm in the process of installing a zero five ground mounted 160-10m 43 foot free standing vertical. I enjoy dxing but like the ragchew better. I enjoy getting to know people on the air.
