Biography

Residing in Otsego County, New York. I have been a ham since 1992, coming into the hobby as a "No Code Technician", then achieving my 5wpm and becoming a "Tech Plus", and then getting my 13wpm and obtaining my "General Class" privileges. Someday I will stop being lazy and get my "Extra Class".

I enjoy DX'ing on HF, 10m through 80m. I am not a paper chaser or contester but I do like to collect QSL cards, so if we QSO please QSL. I am an old fashioned ham, and I QSL the old fashioned way. I do not eQSL, or LOTW, or via the bureau, I QSL direct only, and if I take the time and expense to drop you one in the mail I ask and would appreciate you reciprocating the gesture by sending one back. I return all QSL cards received 100%. I do not do greenstamps, IRC's, SASE's or PayPal. I operate on old ham principles and values, let's just swap QSL cards the old fashioned way!

I am an ARRL General Class VE, a member of ARES/RACES, and SKYWARN. I am a member of 10-10 International, my 10-X #64219.

I am a Freemason, hailing from Cobleskill Lodge #394, PM.
