Biography

First licensed in 1952 as a General Class Amateur (W1WRW), received FCC Radio Telephone First Class ticket in 1955, and a Private Pilot certificate (SEL) in 1973. Operate SSB, digital modes, and occasional CW on 75/80, 40, 20, 12, 10, and 2 meters, and hold WAS, WAC, DXCC, OTC, RCC, certificates. Am an FCC Certified Extra Class Examiner.
Am now retired after 40+ years in radio/television engineering, am a member of ARRL, QCWA, 070, and 10-10. Enjoy QSLing (cards only please) and respond to all received (no "SASE" necessary).
Hobbies in addition to ham radio: antique automobile restoration (presently own a 1930 Model-A Ford Tudor and a 1952 MG-TD), playing both trumpet and organ. Give us a call, we would enjoy a QSO with you!
