Biography

Back on the air after taking 11 years off. Forgot how much I missed this stuff!

Thank you for visiting my QRZ Page. I have been licensed since 1984. My original call was WB1CAX. I obtained my vanity call, N1TKO, shortly after.

I live in Haverhill Massachusetts right on the New Hampshire border.

Always monitoring 145.350 - KT1S _ in Haverhill, Ma.

I'm now retired and after taking 10 or 11 years off away from amateur radio, I'm back.

Currently running a Yaesu FT1000MP Mark V and using an end fed sloper. I'm on the hunt for a affordable tower and a Tri-Bander with a 40 Meter add on. wish me luck......... I may have to wait for the gas prices to drop before getting these!!

I am a member of the USTAW Net. Member #423 . We meet every day of the week at (2330z) 7:30 EST on 40 Meters at 7.189 + or - QRM. A friendly bunch of Hams you chat with and make contacts throughout the USA and elsewhere to earn a variety of awards. The Net is open to all Amateur Operators. Please take the time to join us.
