Biography

A little bit about me, I am a first generation ham radio operator. My dad was into radios and he was going to go for his license in the early 80s but the language barrier was hard for him so he never accomplished his goal. We immigrated here from the Azores to Taunton Massachusetts which is a small city 50 miles south of Boston. Fast forward to present, I was an automotive tech for 18 years, mostly General Motors but I started out working on Range Rover/Jaguar which was fun {keep away from Lucas Electronics} lol. I am now a machinist for Amtrak, I have been there 7 years and I love it! I work on trains which is fun but has its moments. Most of the time I'm on 10m but love all the other bands as well. I love sending out qso cards even though I dont get many back lol.. but hey its fun.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

IC7610,IC9700,Kenwood TS-820S,AMERITRON 811H,AT2K ANTENNA TUNER,857D,SIRIO 827 VERTICAL, .HYPOWER 80M OCF DIPOLE

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
