Biography

I'm a Colorado native and have lived in Grand Junction Colorado since 1962. Retired in 2015, I hope to spend some time with HAM radio. I spend most of my time on the higher bands like 6, 10, 12, 15, and 17 meters. I currently like to play around with the digital bands especially FT8 and JT8call on 20, 30, and 40 meters. I'm a member of the High Noon Traffic Net, The Noon Time Net, and the Over the Hill Gang on 80 meters. Plans include doing some of the digital modes and SSB contest this year and a lot of photography. I'm active with the Band of Brothers Motorcycle ministry charter member, Western Colorado Amateur Radio Club, Grand Mesa Repeater Assoc. founding member, Grand Mesa Contesters of Colorado, and the Coyote VHF/UHF Repeater Assoc...
