Biography

First licensed at Barksdale AFB, LA 1959 as KN5AQT. Passed the General in 1960 and became K5AQT. Graduated from LSU BSEE in 1968. Later made extra and while living in Beacon, NY and working on the Indian Point Nuclear Station became W2GAO. Was moving around and held W5TFS and W5QJ. Ended up in Colorado from 1979 to 1996 and got N0CC. Now living in Green Brook, NJ and currently working on contract with New York City Transit Authority in the Capital Program Management Group.

Was inactive for a long time after moving to NJ but now climbing the steep learning curve to get current with today's technology. Picked up an Icom 7610 and am learning the ins and outs of SDRs an D-Star with an Icom ID-5100. Having fun on the CW bands working off the rust on my fist.
