Biography

First licensed as MM3KDZ in 2003, then 2M0KDZ in 2005, then MM0RKT in 2007. These are the three stages of the UK licensing: foundation, intermediate and finally, advanced.

My HF contest call sign was MM0R and my 2 metre contest call sign is MM0RKT/P normally from IO75xq.

My main activity is WSPR on 80m through 10 m. I run 1 watt on 80 through 10m to a 132 foot long off-centre dipole on three sides of the garden. The second picture shows the garden and the short pole on the roof of the shed supports the far corner of the dipole. It's omni-directional on 80m and 40m and on the higher bands fires NW-SE, good for US West Coast, VK, ZL and Russian Far East.

I also have a 1 metre diameter home-brewed magnetic loop which covers 40m through 15m. That fires NW-SE, too

Worked DXCCs:
