Biography

Started my CW tuition in 1994 given by Billy GI0VLE {sk} to whom I a very grateful and passed the 12wpm section on the same night that I started my 1st class of the RAE.The reason was there was nt enough candidates to operate a class so rather than waste time I did my tuition in reverse skipping having a B licence . My Transceivers are Yaesu FTDX10 , Kenwood TS2000H for vhf operation. I have 4 antennas for various bands. My main HF antenna is a 6 band Yagi by SP7GXP usually with 400w ,An Alpha Delta Sloper for 40,60,80 and 160m band operation through my Palstar tuner .I use a TS2000 with 2 antennas a Diamond x510 collinear and a Dx. shop 9 ele. beam on my tower @ 26m. My micro phones are the Yaesu MD200. Power levels vary from 100=400w the later with my new Acom 1500 amp.I have the pleasure of living in the countryside were space is in abundance. My preferred method of confirmation is Qrz.com eqsl, LOTW or direct NO BUREAU.
