Biography

Hello, I’m Lesley, M8CJR, from South Benfleet in Essex, England.

I previously held the callsign 2E1CJR and appeared in the RSGB Callbook around 35 years ago. After a long break from amateur radio, I returned to the hobby in 2026 and was issued the Intermediate callsign M8CJR by Ofcom.

I’m currently relearning the hobby and getting back on the air across HF, VHF and UHF. Pete, G1PET, is also based here in South Benfleet and we share an interest in portable and home amateur radio operating.

73,
Lesley
