Biography

My QTH is North Kelsey, a small rural village in Lincolnshire, in the East of England, 11 miles (18 km) SE from the town of Scunthorpe, and approximately 19 miles (30 km) SW from the City of Hull.

I have been a member of Scunthorpe Amateur Radio Club (G4FUH) since November 2021 and I obtained my licence in March 2022 . I spend most of my time on HF, I operate SSB voice and also FT8/FT4 and SSTV, from 10m to 40m. I am currently using a Yaesu FT DX10 transceiver with M-70 microphone and ground mounted Hustler 6-BTV, trap vertical multiband antenna (10, 15, 20, 30, 40 and 6m). I also operate on 2m; using a Kenwood TR-7600 or Yaesu FTM 6000.

When operating mobile HF I use a Yaesu FT 450D transceiver with a Sigma Eurocomm Ampro monoband whip. On 2m mobile I operate a Kenwood TR-7600 or Yaesu FTM 6000 with Moonraker 5/8 wave antenna.

I much prefer paper QSLs, via Bureau or Direct. Also QSL via QRZ.com and eQSL.

If you want a QSL card direct from me, just send your card; No money. No stamps, No IRCs. You pay for your postage, I pay for mine. I think that's fair.

Thanks for the look-up hope to work you on the bands

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
