Biography
Welcome to my QRZCQ page. As you can see from above my name is Craig and I'm new to the world of amateur radio only passing my foundation exam in Aug 2013.
I'm looking forward to learning more about the hobby and meeting other amateurs on the way.
My QTH is a small village in North Yorkshire called Crathorne, which is about 3 miles south of Yarm and 10 miles north of Northallerton.
I'm a member of the Hambleton Amateur Radio Society based in Northallerton, which is where I took my exam.
Hoping to upgrade to Intermediate licence soon.
At the moment I can be mostly found on the 2m band and on our local repeaters GB3IR & GB3CD. I also use Echolink (node 886794) and sometimes Hamsphere.
I hope to be on HF soon.
