Biography

Hello Thanks For Looking Me Up...

I have been interested in radio since the early 1980's when CB radio became legal here in the U.K,I was very much interested in contacting people worldwide via the radio. In 2006 I took my exam to operate on Ham Radio Bands which I enjoyed and now make contacts worldwide via phone mode or mainly digital modes of FT8 & FT4.

I am a Homebase & Mobile Station my Home QTH is in the county of Kent, England.
The Radio's are a Kenwood 480-SAT which I use at my home QTH which is linked to a Hustler 6-BTV Vertical Antenna which works very well here by the sea , and I have a Yaesu FT857-D for working mobile/portable operations.
As mentioned I enjoy working the digital modes of FT8 & FT4 and have joined several clubs such as FT8DMC, ERC , TADMC & EPC.

***Please Note- Digital Modes Operations***
I DO NOT make duplicate contacts per band (one contact per band/mode), with exception for/during contests. This is to stop Dupes which is becoming many ,though those contacts maybe made they will NOT be logged. Also I shall require a RR73 / RRR at the end of each contact , non-confirmation or other request will result in the QSO not being logged.

You can also now find me on Facebook just look up M3ZZF U.K Amateur/Ham Radio Station, where you will find my Blog-lots of Pictures, Information, QSL Card Contacts and things radio over the years that I have been up to and today ,so when you have a spare few minutes please head over to Facebook and add your callsign to the home page to say "Hi" and "Like", Click on the link - https://www.facebook.com/ukradioM3ZZF/
