Biography

From Skegness in Lincolnshire lived briefly in Australia in Sydney and Brisbane now live in Norwich in Norfolk UK. Was a CB op for 30 plus years and got my ham licence in 1996 then after doing packet radio and the internet coming on linei had a 12vto 15 year break coming back on about 2012 or 13 not sure and loving it even more now a well as lrarning morse well trying.

Equipment

as a CB radio op for aKenwood TS450s and Yaesu 817nd with Kenwood W5GI also a delta loop and a virtical mast 45ft with 9:1 unun and a Imax 2000 the 817nd used mainly on vhf uhf (and hf mainly mobile) with various whips also a asortment of homebrew antennas ie: 20m slim jim the virtical mast a 4m slim jim a 6m bazooka at the moment.
