My name is DEREK my old callsign was (2E0GVG). I am 76 yrs old.and an ex marine engineer.Working in shipbuilding fof 42 yrs.I have been on the radio sinse 1989.

My HF set is a Kenwood TS570S for 6m t0 160m. I also have a Kenwood TS570D as a back up. Mainly used on the warc bands. My Yaesu FT8800 is for 2m and 70cm. My antennas are a G5RV and a Antron 99 for HF..I use a Watson 30 collinear for 2m and 70cm....


My qth is 4 miles east of the city of NEWCASTLE on the NE coast of England.
