Biography

I cut my radio teeth at a very young age building a crystal set with my father. I believe it was small enough to fit inside a Tic-Tac box! I was fascinated by the fact that it had no batteries and yet you could still clearly hear the broadcast. I then moved onto CB and from CB on to amateur radio at the end of the 80's passing my RSGB B examination. I never did anything with it for the next 31 years and then decided to do it all over again and here I am.

I'm based in the historic city of Ely in Cambridgeshire which is famous for its Norman cathedral. I run an aviation training company in the unmanned sector and train people to gain their commercial drone licenses.
