Biography

I completed and passed the Bath Distance Learning Advanced Course Advanced Level Exam in February 2018.

Completed my Intermediate Level in March 2015 following a self study course -2E0DIP.

In December 2010 I passed my Foundation Licence Course - M6DWE

Operating when I can using my set up from home or when I can working portable at local locations of interest. I have always enjoyed contacting Special Event Stations so I provide the planning, setting up and management with HARS Club Members three Special Event Stations - GB0WYT, GB0WY & GB2DWM and GB2RMR I also try and participate in other SES's the Club runs.

For 2021-22 I have the NoV for a Special, Special Event Station Callsign GB80ATC for marking the 80th Aniversary of the Air Training Corps (RAF Air Cadets).

I operate Voice and Data Modes FT8/4, PSK31, Olivia 16/500 on most bands and recently Packet on the 2 Mtrs Band.
