Biography
Hello dear radio friend. Many thanks for looking me up on QRZ.com
I was first licensed as G7AXN in 1988 and still hold that callsign but no longer use it. I upgraded to Class A/B as M5ADY in 1999, followed by my current Class A callsign shortly after.
I live approximately 15 miles north-west of the city of York in the beautiful conservation village of Helperby.

Currently only active on HF, 40m to 6m.
After being QRT for well over 10 years I came back to the hobby in 2018 and now enjoy it more than ever. Unfortunately, during a house move in 2015 all of my previous station logs were lost, so if I have worked you before via any of my callsigns and I don't acknowledge it please accept my apologies. I have re-built part of my old log by entering information from QSL cards received. Sadly, this only represents a fraction of the stations I've previously worked.

My other interests:
I live 100 metres from the River Swale and can often be found on the river bank fishing for barbel and chub. If I don’t catch anything, there’s a good chance of seeing kingfishers and otters. What better way to spend a few hours in the evening?
