Thanks for looking me up if we had a QSO thanks. If you’re here because you have seen yourself spotted on Dxmaps or Psk reporter again thanks.

Monitoring 50.313 and 144.174 FT8 mode.

On 6M I am using an RSP1A SDR receiver from SDRPlay running HDSDR on an old Sony Viao laptop I repaired. Uploading spots to psk reporter and dxmaps using WSJT DX Aggregator the antenna is a four element LFA at 10m most of the time its pointed at 90 decrees from here which is PA, DL during the summer mornings it will be pointing at JA looking for openings to JA and the far east and at the U.S.A in the afternoons evenings.



On The 4m band, I am using a 3 element LFA at 8m on 2m x2 eight-element LFA antenna connected to cheap £10 TV dongle a Raspberry PI 3 running Gqrx the audio from Gqrx going from the pi3 audio out socket into the input of a usb sound card in the same pi 3 also running WSJT-X decoding FT8 mode (pi running at 50% load). Spots are uploaded to psk reporter and dx maps via a second copy of DX Aggregator running on the Sony Viao laptop. . All running 24 hours a day unless I am using the radio.


I am 53 years old married with two children a Girl 17 (M6IFJ) and a Boy aged 12. My brother is MW0UAA and Becky my niece is 2W0YLL. I have worked as a Greenkeeper / Groundsman for 35 years. Including a year in Florida working at The Inverrary Country Club and 11 years at Hawkstone Park in Shropshire UK. I am currently working for a local council as a Groundsman.
