Biography

Hi there and thanks for looking me up.

My name is Phil and i would like to think that i am a relatively serious radio operator hihi;-)
I also have the Nov for SCC M0N which I use when I can.
My main intrests have been focused on vhf/uhf but i do dabble in hf. Mainly contests but sometimes you may hear my callsign on the local repeaters or floating on 80m. Also WAB.
I live in Hemel Hempstead at only 82m asl.
I am lucky enough to own and use a 14m mast to clear all local obstructions and manage some actual dx on vhf.
I prefer old school ssb and have started to learn the key. Data modes seem like robot talk and don't really float my boat personally.
I see radio as a hobby and enjoy it for that. I like to try to participate in events that sound of intrest but on a hobby level. I could not be serious as some but then again i have a family and a life.

Good luck to you all
