Biography

Hi, thanks for popping by. my hobbies are Ham Radio, playing the guitar and my two dogs Taffy and Bruno. Taffy is a Shi-Tsu born in Wales and named by his breeder, not me, and Bruno is a FRUG, a French Bulldog/Pug. I play the guitar and usually play Pink Floyd and Dire Straits music and others.

My first Callsign was M1AIV in 1994 when I passed my RAE, and a short while after passing my Morse Test, I received the call sign M0BOC in 1996.

I can usually be found on 28.490 with a group pals, some newfound friend's and some older ones too.

I currently TX on a Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V, a Yaesu FTdx10 and a Kenwood TS-2000 used for 2/70 mainly. For mobile I use my Yaesu FT-891.

Microphones, Heil PR-40 going through a Behringer Xenyx X1204USB, a Yaesu MD-100, Yaesu MD-200, Kenwood MC-80 and an Adonis AM-303.

My antennas are:UNUN End Fed Long Wire 122' Long 9' off the ground, UNUN End Fed Long Wire 53' Long 22' off the ground, Hustler 6-BTV Trap Vertical 80 - 10, Solarcon Max 2000 Vertical for 12-10 Mtr, Diamond V2000 for VHF and UHF. Mobile: Sirio Fighter P-5000 Red, Sirio HP2070H VHF/UHF and the Atas 120A for HF Mobile.
