Biography

Hi, my name is Antanas I am 12 years old.

I enjoy soldering, playing football, fishing and coding.

I speak Lithuanian and English, also i am learning German and Japanese.

I mostly operate afternoons or weekends.

I do not do QSO's with Russian and Belarusian stations.

QTH:

I live in Vilnius the capital of Lithuania.

My grid locator is KO24qq.

Sometimes I operate from Liepaja, Latvia.

MODES AND BANDS:

I enjoy making contacts in various modes, but mainly in SSB and FT8.

I am sometimes trying some new modes like PSK31 or CW, but I do not operate them often.

I am still learning CW so now I am using a CW decoder.

Currently I am learning CW on LCWO.

On 2m I am sometimes operating local repeater LY0RVN or 2m calling frequency(145.500Mhz)

CONTESTS:

I participate in various shortwave contests like CQ WW SSB or CQ WPX SSB.

Also I participate in local 3.5Mhz or 145Mhz contests like LYAC or NRAU BALTIC.

SATELLITE OPERATION:

I am interested in operating satellites.

I am trying to make a QSO through ISS, SO-50 etc.

Unfortunately I haven't made a single QSO yet.

I guess that's because of my QTH and equipment.

For satellites I use "duosat" dual band handheld yagi and yaesu ft-2980.

If you have any tips for operating satellites email me.

QSL CARDS:

I like to receive QSL cards.

I will answer to all QSL cards sent via bureau or direct.

Bureau in Lithuania is very slow.

If you have sent me a direct card and haven't received it within 2 months write me an email.

I collect post stamps and I would be happy if you add some when sending me a QSL card.

If you want me to send reply with priority post add 2$ if you don't add 2$ your reply will be sent by regular post.

OTHER WAYS TO CONFIRM QSO'S:

I also can confirm our QSO using eQSL or qrz.com.

If you want to get our QSO confirmed in other way email me.

I don't send email QSL cards so don't send me these.

SPECIAL CALLS:

I sometimes participate in special event calls like: LY32A, LY33A, LY34A
