Biography

Hi my name is oscar. I am 67 years old and I worked in a multinational company as Head of Automation in SMD (Surface Mount System). In my free time I work in the radio, my passion since 1972 when entering the Navy in the communications department, I worked in Antarctica in LU1ZA - South Orkney Islands and in many units of the Mobile Maritime Navy, in 1976 I leave the Navy .
My first license was LU1XSI until 1999, then LU1XS operates from Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina (IOTA SA 008). Now LU6OA from Salta, my main interest is CW Radio, Dx long distance and all international competitions. I have two children, Sebastian Leonardo, Andrea Rosina and two large dogs "Rufo and Milo" do not like the radio.
I worked in Chile (IOTA SA 050) From the island of Navarino CE8 / LU1XS and also LR3Z, AY1XS, LU1XS / O, I participated in several international competitions of the Radio Club Ushuaia LU8XW, I have been a member since its foundation in 1984.
I have DXCC, WAZ, WAS certificates. I need some countries in 80 meters for the 5 Bands.-
