My first SOTA LA/AH-018 Udnessæter 404masl

Wanted to start working some SOTA summits, picked up some probably useful gear in a backpack and went ahead up to a 1pt site 17km from home. Turned out that the LG-tuner had defedtive battery at the 23.february 2020.

1.30min car into the woods, 60min 200m elevation up, hang up a dipole, and the ELad Duo started to sound not liking my antenna.

2. Once again packed with battery, tuner/Battery, -fdm-duo, mic, keyer, antenna fibreglass 6m ant support, 10m RG-58. During packing up I found that batterycable to trx was nowhere to be seen. No power - no qsos. Went back to car again 45mins, and got home.

3. try It was a nice SUNDAY morning, I planned to join the hamnews QST-LA at 10AM, som I were driving in and suddenly one wheel wet noisy about 500m from myparking lot. When examining the tyre, it had got a 1 inch long cut into the thinnest part of the rubber. Examining theroad where it had happened, I found several knifesharp small stones, one of them could have done it. I called the Vikings towin service from a bit higher than the car stop to achieve mobil coverage. He would come within 45 minutes, Llifted up the wheel, saw the problem concluding that it was done by an exploded/blasted stone. Winched up on the truck, and took us to the nearest tyre workshop, where I had to buy a new tyre as the old was urepairable. Toll road 25kr (in) myself-assurance 500kr for towing and 1875kr for new tire on monday...

I have not given it up yet! have activated a few others.. :-)Will try again 2021 on a few Summits.. probably
