First licensed in 1964 been active most of the time from then. Age 72 (1947) Traveled to many location with my military duties Old Call Was WA8VDJ. Ran portable from shipboard, Texas, Hawaii, Florida, Based in Ohio, and Washington. Changed call in about 2000. Have worked SSB, Digital still active on FT8. Chasing DX, worked Satilite back in 1976-1978, worked VHF Rtty for several years. Enjoy building antennas and testing them. DX Confirmed at 287 goal 300..

Equipment

Primary equipment Kenwood TS-2000 into a BLA 1000 AMP followed with a MFJ-998 into a 160 Meter Loop antenna up about 50-60 ft. For upper bands have a 11 element 5 Band beam up at 65 Feet.
