Biography

I enjoy cw contesting, chasing DX, and ragchewing. I work 100% cw. My Dad HA7PT now SK taught me how to send and copy Morse code at the age of ten. I enjoy cw from QRS to QRQ!


I have been licensed since 1986 at the age of fifteen as HA7AP. I moved to the U.S in 2018. I've got my Tech, and General class license in June 2022 as KI5WJP, and I've got my Amateur Extra class license in July 2022 as KV1I

My equipment is a Ten Tec Omni VII, and my antenna is a EFHW-8010- LP. I have a wkusb keyer, and a single lever ZN-SL and a dual lever ZN-9ZX paddle from Tony, N3ZN. I use N3FJP AC Log for daily QSO's and N1MM+ for contest.



I have been fortunate to met some of the finest CW operators in my life. These CW operators inspired, and helped me to be a better CW operator along the way. Thank you guys.
