Biography

I've been a very active ham since April 1977. I enjoy operating portable in the park. Since
POTA has been so popular, I've been spending even more time operating portable and activating
a POTA station. My go to antenna for activating POTA is my OCF40.

I mostly operate CW and SSB. Can't meet other hams and enjoy interesting QSO's using FT8 !

I joined the Navy right after high school and spent my tour of duty on a destroyer, DD-865.

My other hobby is riding motorcycles, mostly just for day trips. Been doing that ever since
I was 14 years old. I like to take along my KX2 and a simple dipole. I look for a nice place
to stop, have a snack and operate.

Power: Home brew 4-1000 and Home brew 3CX1000A7 amp that both cover 10 to 160 meters with
legal limit output all day long.
