I grew up in Richlands, NC and graduated from Richlands High School (Go Wildcats!!).

Just got my license (August 2025). However, I have been around ham radio my entire life, with BOTH of my parents being operators since the early 1980’s.

My Father - KA4SQN
My Mother - KB4VEV

They took me to every Field Day, every Hamfest, and every Club meeting as a child. When I was about 8 years old, I was the honorary ~unofficial~ envelope sealer for my parents when they were both active in MARS (The Military Auxiliary Radio System, a US DOD sponsored program) during Desert Storm.

Special thanks to my mentors:

• My Dad, Randy ( KA4SQN ) and

• Janez Celarc ( S51DX )

The "Elmers" in my life that have had the biggest influence in my Amateur Radio knowledge. My inspiration, my role models; the ones that have helped me navigate the Ham Radio world. They have taught me everything from how to use the radio settings to filter out noise, how to build an antenna, how to make effective contacts, and proper radio etiquette, (which some of you still need indecision )!! I can't thank them enough for helping me along the way, and still continuing to help me on a day to day basis.

Also, special thanks to my Mother, ( KB4VEV ), who taught me; Ham Radio isn't just a man's "sport," it's for YL's too!!!
