| Biography Hello and welcome to my page and thank you for visiting.
A Technician Class license was granted on 07-11-2025. Received my General Class license effective on 11-19-2025.
Currently I have a JRC NRD-525 (Icom 7300 pending). On 02/18/2026 I strung up a temporary makeshift 40-meter doublet along a privacy wall up about 7 1/2 feet (HOA community).
I may learn CW eventually, but may go with SSB Phone to start out. Planning on making 40-meters my home for now at least.
I owe a lot to a high school friend, Chris, W2JBL after reconneting with me after many years and encouraging me to enter this hobby as he himself did a long time ago. His father was also an amateur radio operator (Robert Jackson, SK callsign W2GOW).
I have been an SWL (WA4282SWL) on and off since my high school (electronics class), starting in the early 70s. |
