Biography

First licensed back in (cough...) 1979 while in high school, in a wee Pennsylvania town, where the Amish still roam in horse-drawn carts. Had the best Elmer ever there (AG3D). I was always a writer since I was a wee lass, but allowed myself to be pressured into computer programming early on. Dropped out of that as the nightmare of boredom it was (the opposite of a dream) in 1997, RV'ed full-time for a few years all around the country, then got back into writing and went back to college for it in 2010. Have since settled in the PNW and found some stability. I'm actually thinking about getting back on the air, if only QRP, because of a starving-writer-sized budget. Hi hi. Perhaps one day I'll find a nice little rig that fits me. Hopefully one day I'll chat with some of you. ^_^

Equipment

A couple of cans and a string at the moment... I'm looking for a budget or secondhand rig to get back into things--maybe a QRP kit... What with the scammers nowadays, it's hard to shop for anything secondhand and all the hamfests seem to be a million miles away.
