Biography

I work in information security, and love using amateur radio as a hobby to get outside. I am an adult leader with Scouting America - Greater Yosemite Council, and have a lot of fun teaching the Radio merit badge, as well as bringing my portable setup with me on the trail. I added foxhunting into my activities, and am very happy with the MicroFox-50.

I prefer to operate portable, and test out my equipment in different settings to see what I can do with what I have.

I am most interested in Summits On The Air, Parks On The Air, working satellites and the ISS, and am getting into digital modes like FT8. I intend to get into CW eventually.
