Biography

Thanks for the warm welcome. Everyone calls me Yaz or now KJ7PPT. I am new to ham and still have a lot to learn. I have not started in using CW yet just playing with 10,2,70, Echolink, and DMR. Been working on getting my general and a mobile for the car along with building up my ham shack.
I been working with local hams in this area with maintenance on repeaters and equipment. It helps get me more knowledgeable with the practices and equipment that I use along with what the FCC rules are.
Hope to talk to you later. 73.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

I Run a YAESU FP-757GX which is down for repairs. Needs a good tune up cause it is off frequencies. But a friend loaned me his Kenwood TS-820S while mine is down.
The antenna is a 10 meter 3 element Yagi. Got plans on installing later a 40 meter antenna with a tuner.
Also running 2 barrowed handhelds one only has 2 meter, and the other has DMR. Also I been using a Wouxun KG-UV3D for 2 meters, 70, and for scanning as a mobile.
Opps almost forgot my phone with Echolink.
