Biography

My QTH is in the north Idaho panhandle, about 50 miles south of the Canadian border on the shore of Lake Pend Oreille. My main rig is a Yaesu FTdx101MP with a YL-1000 amplifier into a 3-element SteppIR at 17m height covering 6 thru 40m. I also use tree-hung half-wave dipoles 18m high for the 160m and 80m bands.

316 DXCC, 8-Band DXCC, 1800+ DXCC Challenge, 10-BAND WAS, WAS-TRIPLE PLAY.

I am a retired applied physicist/nuclear scientist. 'Fellow of the American Physical Society.
