I originally had callsign KB5TET, before upgrading to Advanced class, I'm running a Kenwood TS-430S with PS 430 power supply, I'm using a Kenwood AT250 tuner into a home brew G5RV inverted V @ around 30 ft height at the apex, I aso run a Full loop antenna for 10 meters, height @ 25 ft and also an IMAX2000 @ a heigth of 10 feet
I'm running barefoot at this time, maybe I'll get an amplifier sometime in the future.
I have a Kenwood TR-7400A for 2-meters along with a Baofeng UV-5R for my motorcycle and mobile unit operating VHF/UHF
I like to hang out on the Saltgrass linked system 146.920 & 443.825 and the Rag Chew net everynight 7 to 8 pm CST on 10 meters 28.360,& also the Fried Finals net on 80M 3.908 Mhz nightly from 8 to 9 pm CST and the Free Wheelers group on 3.916 Mhz every night and on the weekends I can usually be be found on the 29.620 & 29.640 FM Repeaters
Once apoun a time I was a MARS operator & also American Red Cross radio operator.
