Biography

I got my Technician License in 1995 or so, as a result of wanting to use a 2 Meter handheld radio to talk to other hang glider pilots. I was incredibly fortunate to meet Jim Townsend, who encouraged me to go farther in the hobby. I have my General License and will upgrade to Extra Class as soon as I can find a location for testing.
