Biography

General Class amateur and American Radio Relay League life member KH6EE, Mark W. Costa, together with his wife Teresa and their son Parker reside on Bainbridge Island in the state of Washington.

An amateur since 1984, Mark is an avid DX'er active mainly on H.F. You can normally find KH6EE evenings and weekends on 15 and 20 meters from about 24:00 to 4:00 UTC. When propigation is not favorable, Mark enjoys Shortwave listening as well.

Awards: DXCC, (104 - Pending ARRL Approval) Worked All Continents, (WAC) and Worked All States,(WAS)

Equipment

The KH6EE station consists of a Kenwood TS850S/AT transceiver, Henry 2KD linear amplifier, PS52 power supply, SP31 external speaker, MC85 desk microphone, Yaesu YS-60 SWR/Power meter and a 43 foot Zero Five multi band verticle antenna. Also active occassionally on 2 meters Mark runs a Kenwood TS241.
