Biography

I grew up in a small communumity in Texas farming cotton on the family farm. Employment opportunities moved me to Washington State where I have lived since the early 90's. I became an active ham member at a later age (58) starting out as Tech and moving to General within a year. My 2 meter station is always on 146.52 and my HF rigs can be across the bands. My main HF rig is a Yaesu Icom 7300 with an ICM Microphone. . I also purchased a new Ico 718 anduse it as a base also mainly on 10 meters but can put it in the Pelican case for field day etc. .A Hustler 5 BTV and a Buckmaster offset dipole are my two main antennas. I also have a small J pole for 2 meters and a 10 meter beam that has been idle for some time due to low band conditions. I do not use a computer on my ham radios and enjoy station to station through the air contacts. 73' from Washington State U.S.A.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Icom 7300, Icom 718 , Hustler 5BTV, Buckmaster Windom wire offset dipole and a 10 meter Hygain LJ113 three element beam.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
