Biography

First licensed in 2000, upgraded to General in 2007, upgraded to Amateur Extra in October 2021. Serving as a Volunteer Examiner on the Hualapai Amateur Radio Club VE Team, where I get the privilege of administering exams to prospective licensees and those seeking to upgrade their licenses.

My wife and I live with our 2 Golden-Doodles, Jake and Charlie, in Kingman, AZ, which is in the North-West portion of the state, not too far South of the Grand Canyon.

I currently operate CW, SSB, FT8 and PSK31 on the HF bands, as well as local simplex. You can also find me on some of the local 2m and 70cm repeaters. I'm working on learning/improving my CW skills and am also taking the Emergency Communications 101 course from the ARRL.
