Biography

Well a little about myself, I originally got hooked on the hobby back in the early
80's. I lived in England for some time and held a Class "B" license with the call G6YCY and my first radio was a FT-290R running about 2.5 watts into a 8 element yagi attached to the side of my house. I spent many hours chasing squares QRP and had a blast doing it.
After moving back to the USA I drifted away from the hobby but I would read every book or magazine I could get my hands on. So fast forward to the present I decided it was time to get my license.
I mostly work JT-65 and JT-9 and some SSTV so if you see me around the bands give me a call. Hope to see you on the air.
