Biography

My name is Anita and I passed my Technician Ham license on July 17, 2004, then passed my General Class test on February 24, 2007. I am now beginning my study for the new Extra Class Ham Radio license. I have loved what has been called "The magic of radio" for many years, but I have a special saying about Ham Radio operators around the world; "We make time to help others because that's what we do." And being able to talk to so many people in many Countries around the world is a big plus for me. Ham Radio opened up a whole new world to me that I really never knew before and I feel very proud to be a part of the worldwide Ham Radio Family. I talk on an Icom 756 Pro III radio using 100 watts and have a Cobra Ultralight Senior antenna up 70 feet in a Redwood tree in our back yard and I enjoy a lot of DX throughout the year and most likely, for years to come. Thank You Ham Radio and all of my fellow Ham Radio operators. All The Best, Anita KE7BJR

Equipment
