Biography

My main reason for getting into radio is to help in public service and give back to the community by helping with different events in the area. I am a member of Richardson Races, Dallas Races and Collin County ARES.I am a net control station for the DFW Metroplex Traffic Net which is an affiliate of the ARRL National Traffic System, I handle traffic that comes into the DFW area and outgoing digital traffic as well. I am a NCS for Dallas and Richardon R.A.C.E.S

Come join us for the traffic net, every night at 6:30pm on 146.88 and 10:30pm on 146.73, both have a pl tone of 110.9

I have upgraded to a Yaesu FT450D radio. I also have a Hustler BTV4 vertical . Making some HF contacts on weekends. Will send QSL Card out with SASE envelope to get a return card hopefully. Also using LOTW to track Qso and maybe work on some awards and certficates like WAS, etc.
I am active on 40,20,15 and 10 meters when I get a chance. Mostly weekends.
I am a member of the Dallas Amateur Radio Club, the second oldest club in the area.

Still have my Yaesu FT-7900 for vhf/uhf activity.
