Biography

58 years in amateur radio since 1967. First as WB2LJA then KF4DSthen KE2AA (SINCE 1985).

21 years commissioned service in the US Army and 22 years in the ultra hazardous waste disposal and petrochemical industries until retiring in 2019.

HF radios: Icom 7610, Hermes Lite 2+ with homebuilt 100 W amplifier and tuner, QRPLabs QMX+, Transworld TW-500A amplifier, Kenwood TS-430S, and Sideband Engineers SBE33.

HF antennas: 43 ft vertical with remote tuner and remote 80m loading coil; Mosely 33-A mini beam at 26 ft.

VHF: Yaesu VX-3.

VHF antenna: rubber duck.
