Biography

Originally N8TOJ in the mid 70's quickly upgraded to KD8TF - Advanced w/ help of my elmer WB8ERY (sk) in Cincy, Oh.
got busy on the road making and engineering music, and lost track of hamming for abt 30 yrs. and moved to Fla for the last years with mom.

My bro N8GCO got me back into it and I got my General KQ4FYF Feb 3 23 (couldn't get Advanced back), but got the current (old) call back. Now I enjoy being retired, making furniture, and chatting about woodworking, music, and tech stuff. Love the new (to me) digi stuff where my modest station can compete.

Running a Yaesu FT-710 into a dipole up 20' (we have a HOA here so ugly is not permitted). I painted the mast a pretty sky blue.
Also run a Xeigu G90 20w barefoot w/ their 100w amp mostly on digital.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Yaesu FT-710 aess or/
Xeigu G90 SDR - 20w barefoot.
40m dipole up 20'
CAT - Flrig -- all other software goes to flrig, except ->
Logging - N1MM. Manual on general QSOs, I'll let it have control for contests. so easy!

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
