Biography

I have always had an interest radio communications. Growing up in the 70's, everyone around had CB's. I use to talk to the farmers and truckers and neighbors on a hand held hooked to a 5/8 grow plane. I had alot of fun, especially when i got an old SONAR 23 channel, still have it!

Later in the late 90's into the 2000's I met my Elmer, N8RFR. He showed me the ropes. My first rig, I bought from my Elmer, was a Yaesu FT-840. I operated that radio for years and years. Still have it also.

I plan on staying in radio until im a SK! hihi
