Biography

started as a ham in High School in Barrington, Ill. They had a club that met on Thursday. We could build things, get on the radio, take tests to get on the air. I started Novice as freshmen. Contacted eastern states from Mississippi with my HW-16 on 3 dipoles strung between trees. Today live in La Vergne, TN have a Yaesu FT101 have a multiband vertical and one 20M dipole as temporary. I can take it down and go on field day with that.
