Biography

Retired Electrical Engineer specializing in power generation. My QTH is located in a rural town of 2,500 folks if you count the dogs and cats.
I started in Ham Radio late in life and obtained my Tech license in 2007. I have a lot to learn and time is short.

Equipment

Icom-718 transceiver. MFJ-949E tuner. MFJ-4225MV power supply. Home based. I also use a Kenwood TM-281 for 2 meters.

My antennas consist of a 40 M. Delta Loop at 39 feet, 20 M. Delta Loop at 35 feet, and an EFHW antenna at 32 feet high and 53 feet long in a L shaped configuration. I use a vertical antenna at 20 feet for 2 M.
