Biography

I was born in 1971.

I have loved working with electronics projects since I was about 12years old. I have interest in technology innovation and Science advancement. I love working with my hands in small mechanical projects also.

My father always supported my hobby and gave me the tools and help I needed to learn what I know. Without his help I would not have any ability in this field.

I am a tech license and mostly love working in hf band. I recently moved and finally have my first working outdoor antenna! The noise level has been low and for the first time I have been making clean phone contacts on 10M, in my home. I enjoy voice phone and digital modes. Of digital modes, I enjoy using psk the most but rarely make contacts on this 10 meter band.

I have since started using FT8 mode and it is my second favorite digital operating mode along with JT65. The modes are fun but do lack carrying on a real qso which I do enjoy also.

In the future it is my hope to advance to general class ham license as hf bands really are my passion.

I hope to meet you on the band.

Equipment

I am currently operating a 10 meter radio "Anytone AT-5555".

I am using a Homebrew soundcard interface for digital modes.

My output power is approx 25w most of time.

My antenna is a Homebrew vertical bazooka (off center dipole) mounted approximately 35 feet in a tree.
